PSA Submissions
Submitting cards for professional grading should feel simple, safe, and worth it. Our PSA submission service takes the guesswork out of the process: you hand us your cards, and we handle the paperwork, the packing, the shipping, and the tracking. Your slabs come back to the shop ready for your collection or the display case.
Whether you are grading a single grail or a full binder, we treat every card like it is our own.
What is PSA grading?
PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator) is the most recognized name in card grading. A trained grader examines a card for centering, corners, edges, and surface, then assigns it a grade from 1 to 10 and seals it inside a tamper-evident holder known as a slab. That grade is an independent opinion on condition, and it can affect what a card is worth, how easily it sells, and how well it is protected for the long term.
How our submission service works
- Bring your cards in. Stop by the shop during open hours with the cards you are considering. No appointment needed.
- We review them with you. We look at condition, centering, and value to help you decide which cards are worth submitting and which service level makes sense. No pressure and no jargon.
- We prepare the submission. Your cards are sleeved, secured, and logged. We complete the submission forms, set declared values, and confirm the service level and total cost with you before anything ships.
- We ship and track it. Your submission is packed for safe transit and shipped with tracking and insurance. We follow it through the PSA portal and keep you posted along the way.
- We hand it back. When your slabs arrive, we inspect the return, confirm every card against your list, and let you know it is ready for pickup. Your cards come back through the same hands that sent them.
Service levels
PSA offers several service levels that balance turnaround time against cost. The right one depends on the value of the card and how quickly you want it back.
| Service level | Best for | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| Bulk / Value | Lower-value cards and larger submissions | Slowest, most economical |
| Regular | Most mid-value cards | Moderate |
| Express | Higher-value cards you want back sooner | Fast |
| Walk-Through | Top-tier cards needing the quickest turnaround | Fastest, premium cost |
Pricing and turnaround times change often, so we confirm the exact cost and current estimate with you at drop-off before your submission is sent.
How we handle, pack, and ship your cards
- Handled with care. Cards are handled by the edges and never left loose on a counter.
- Proper protection. Raw cards go into a penny sleeve and a rigid holder before they ever leave the shop.
- Logged and tracked. Every card is recorded against your submission so nothing gets mixed up.
- Packed for transit. Submissions ship in a padded, reinforced box sized for the job.
- Insured and tracked. Shipments are insured to the declared value and followed until PSA receives them.
- Verified on return. We open and check every return against your submission list before we call you.
Grading FAQ
What does it cost to grade a card?
Cost depends on the service level you choose, the declared value of each card, and how many cards are in the submission. We go over the full cost with you at drop-off and confirm it before anything ships.
How long does grading take?
Turnaround depends on the service level. Bulk is the slowest and most economical, while Express and Walk-Through come back much faster. PSA adjusts times regularly, so we give you the current estimate when you drop off.
Which cards are worth grading?
Cards with meaningful value, cards that are condition-sensitive, and cards you plan to sell or hold long term are usually the best candidates. If a card is not worth the fee, we will tell you so.
Do you guarantee a grade?
No. A grade is PSA's independent opinion on condition, so nobody can promise a specific number. Our job is to help you submit the right cards and make sure they arrive in the best possible shape.
Can you help me set declared values?
Yes. Declared value affects both insurance and cost, so we help you land on a defensible number based on recent sales.
Are my cards insured while you have them?
Yes. Your cards are covered while they are in our possession and while they are in transit to PSA.
Do you submit to other grading companies?
PSA is our primary focus. Ask us about BGS, CGC, or SGC if you are working on a specific set or collection.
Do I need an appointment?
No. Stop in during our open hours with your cards and we will take it from there.
Ready to submit?
Bring your cards by the shop during open hours, or reach out with questions first. We are happy to talk through whether grading makes sense for what you have.
